"The door beyond sorrow" shows two contrasting worlds. One filled with light, hope and healing and one filled with despair and suffering. A dramatic tear cuts through each realm opened by a group of kids who pull apart the divide between suffering and hope. Along the torned edges flowers bloom, symbolising healing and a quiet persistence of renewable. Throught This symbolic doorway, this artwork suggests that even with fractured realities, beauty can emerge, hope is something we create by daring to open new paths beyond sorrow.
