THE OVERVIEW
Focus 01 “The Doors” Exhibition is an innovative public art exhibition that explores the profound symbolism of doors in human experience. It is an interesting concept to be explored behind different doors. Through a multi-phase approach combining neighborhood exhibitions, mobile art installations, and a culminating grand event, this project aims to make art accessible while fostering community dialogue around themes of change, freedom, memory, hope, and human rights.

တံခါးဆိုတာက ဝင်လာဖို့အတွက် ဖြစ်သလို ထွက်သွားဖို့အတွက်လည်းဖြစ်တယ်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ အမြဲသတိပြုပြီး ဂရုစိုက်တာကတော့ တံခါးရဲ့ အနောက်က အရာတွေ၊ တံခါးဖွင့်ရင် ကြုံရမယ့်အရာတွေကိုပါ။ တံခါးဆိုတာက အမှန်တော့ ဟိုဘက် ဒီဘက်နှစ်ခြမ်းကို ဆက်သွယ်ပေးထားတဲ့ အရာပါဘဲ။ လူတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ နောက်ကွယ်မှာရော မမြင်နိုင်တဲ့ အကြောင်းတရားတွေ ဘာတွေများရှိနေမလဲ။ အနုပညာသမားတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ မမြင်နိုင်တဲ့ နောက်ကွယ်က အကြောင်းအရာတွေက ဘာဖြစ်မလဲ။ အဖေတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ မပြောပြဖြစ်တဲ့ ဒါမှမဟုတ် ထုတ်မပြောခဲ့တာတွေ ဘာတွေများဖြစ်နေမလဲ။ သားသမီးတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ ရင်ထဲမှာရော ဘာတွေရှိနေမလဲ။ တစ်ချို့သောတံခါးတွေက ပိတ်ထားရင် ဝင်လို့မရဘူး။ အဲ့လို ပိတ်ထားတဲ့ တံခါးတွေရဲ့နောက်မှာ ဘာတွေရှိနေမလဲ။ ပိတ်ထားတယ် ဆိုပေမယ့် မှန်ကန်တဲ့ သော့တစ်ချောင်းကတော့ အဖြေဖြစ်လာနိုင်တယ်။

The Doors are both for entry and exit. What we care about is only what is behind the door and what we will experience if we open it. The door indeed is the medium that connects the two sides. What lies behind the scenes of the person or artist? What was kept unspoken by a father? What do the children feel inside? Closed doors cannot be entered. What could exist behind those closed doors? The right key could be the answer to this question.
The real question is how and where we will find the right key to open it.
